“Zheng He” Wins The 2009 Accolade Award of Excellence/TV

Note: The previous such award was given in 2007 to Decode Entertainment, Inc. (Canada) for Planet Sketch II: Episode 16: Dog Lead, animation/cartoon.

The Accolade TV Awards  

Entering its 7th year, The Accolade is an international, non-traditional, virtual venue which receives entries from all over the world including Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Malta, Martinique, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Paraguay, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States. Awards go to those television producers who produce fresh, standout entertainment, animation and compelling documentaries. The Accolade is a showcase for cinematic gems and unique voices. The Accolade presents awards at 3 levels as follows:

1.      Best of Show honors are granted only if worthy productions are discovered.

2.      No more than 15% of entries are granted Awards of Excellence.

3.      Notable artistic and technical productions are recognized at the Award of Merit level.
