CHINAnimax’s Successes at MIPCOM 2007

CHINAnimax inked a number of new broadcasting and distribution deals across its portfolio, following a successful stint at MIPCOM 2007.

“Magic Wonderland” has been snapped up at the market for the Russian and Polish territories.  The rights acquired by them include TV and Home Video rights.  The program should be shown on the stations and available for HV market by early 2008.

“RUBI” is a short 2 mins series of 104 episodes.  It tells a story about adorable but pitiful-looking Rubi, a bunny-shaped pet who comes from the moon and her little mischievous toddler mistress – Yoyo.  It received very good response and is anticipated to bag several pre-sale deals soon

Also during MIPCOM, another worldwide deal was sealed with Oplayo, a Finnish company for the “Magic Eye Flash” series, which is produced for mobile download purpose, comprising 100 Eps x 1 min.
