Magic Eye is your average boy   -   from outer space! He decides to go on a holiday   -   to Earth.  When he lands here, he is fascinated by earthlings and what they do.  And his sojourn on Earth becomes complicated though interesting and very funny when he befriends Lina and her pals.

Complicated because the kids soon discover their alien buddy has a very special power   -   to grant wishes! Their school & homework and chores suddenly become too easy. Bullies are bested. But surely it is wrong to use magic to do things which you should do yourself?

Interesting because the naughty ones always seek his help to fulfill their wishes. Knowing that Magic Eye can never resist his favourite earth food, ice-cream, thus his nickname, Sugar Cone, they use his weakness to get him to help them get out of all sorts of mischief. And the ensuing adventures are a riot of fun.

However, Lina and her friends and even Magic Eye, learn that magic does not really solve problems. To be honest, responsible, loyal, diligent and nice comes from learning, experience and making mistakes   -   not magical shortcuts, and these messages and values make for an educational programme too.
