About ZN Animation

Mr Wu Jianrong, Chairman of Zhongnan Group of Companies has always held a vision to "bring quality Chinese animation onto the global entertainment scene and to create a Zhongnan Cartoon Kingdom in the form of an entertaining amusement theme park".

Established in 2003, Zhongnan Group Animation Video Co.,Ltd is the largest animation company in Zhejiang Province and aims to be one of the largest China-wide.  In line with its outreach strategy to establish itself on the global scene, the company has since been renamed to ZN Animation to give it a more universal positioning.

ZN Animation has production studios in Hangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing.  With a full-time strength of 500 animators, it has produced 2D and 3D animation of more than 10,000 minutes. Apart from its commitment to animation production, it is also very active in video program distribution, audio and video books marketing, online gaming and related product merchandising.  It has also established its own global program distribution network in China and Singapore.

ZN Animation is committed to continually innovate, develop and create better animation and to promote Chinese animation capabilities to the world..   Therefore it has established animation R&D centers respectively in co-operation with Beijing Film Academy, China Academy of Art, Zhejiang University of Media and Communications, and built an animation R&D base in Beijing. The company also has established co-operation in animation research and training programs with Zhejiang University.
